department has a qualified staff, advanced experimental and training
facilities, definite training objectives and orderly teaching and

First-class teaching staff
All
existing full-time teaching staff ,having at least
undergraduate
educational background and the
corresponding evaluation qualification certificates, good
professional ethics, profound theoretical knowledge, rich practical
experience, is a double-qualification team adapting to modern
teaching needs.

There are
more than 30 experiment training rooms such as Modern Electrician
labs, Modern Digital Circuit Lab, Modern Artificial Circuit Lab,
Power Electronics and Motor Control Lab, Power Haulage Lab,
Hydraulic Pressure Transmission Lab, PLC Lab, SCM Lab, Sensors Labs,
Machine Tools Electric Training Room,Electrical and Electronic
Integrated Training Room, CAD / CAM Training Room, Lathe Tools
Training Room, Auto Electrical Training Room, Automobile Chassis
Training Room, Car Engine Training Room ,Electronic Circuit Training
Room, CNC Programming Training Room, CNC Training Center, etc. The
NC Technology Training Center has 26advanced CNC machine tools, as
well as various types of NC comprehensive test-bed CNC systems and
network equipment, which is one of the largest, most advanced
numerical control technology training bases of high vocational
institutions in Shandong province. We cooperate with Shandong
Chenming Group, Weichai Power Joint Stock Company,Shandong Union
Group, Shandong Coastal Soda Plant, Huayuan Kaima Group, Taifeng
Automobile Chassis Manufacturing Limited Company, Wanlong Group and
the Molong group to establish more than 20 joint enterprises
practical training bases outside, making good use of the technical
resources and enterprise equipment resources to fully meet the needs
of practice and training of the students, and to comprehensively
improve the status of students’ employment adaptability.

Definite Training Objectives
The
department adheres to taking employment as guide, social needs as
aim, training of vocational capacity as base, improving student's
employment ability as guideline and strives to train the students to
become higher technical practical talents with thick basis, more
skills, high quality and ability .
Ⅳ.
Reasonable specialty structure
The department opens up
six skilled, short professional and higher vocational specialties
such as mechanical and electrical integration technology, automobile
testing and maintenance technology, electronic application
technology, numerical control technology and molds design and
manufacture, mechanical manufacture and automation that cover
machinery, electronics, manufacturing technology, automotive
engineering and NC, to create a broad platform for the training of
professional skills of the students. The Department plans to add two
undergraduate majors of mechanical design & manufacturing automation
and application of electronic technology. With the addition of new
specialist majors and undergraduate profession’s successful
approval, the professional structure of this Department will be more
reasonable.
Ⅴ.Broad
employment prospects
With the
entry to WTO, China is developing into world manufacturing centre
rapidly. Particularly with implementation of Shandong Peninsula’s
manufacturing base strategy, talents of mechanical & electrical
machinery’s demand exceeds supply too much in electronic industries.
For three consecutive years, the Department graduates’ employment
rate has been up to 98% or more. The graduates’ excellent
professional skills and good overall qualities have gained praise of
Chenming Group,Weichai Power Joint Stock Company, Weiqiao Textile
and other employers. With the rapid development of the manufacturing
sector of the peninsula and the uplift of the Bohai economic circle,
with the city constantly improving the level of industrialization,
the students’ employment prospects will be even broader. |
