It is a subsidiary institute approved by the Shandong People’s Government in October of 2006. Presently there is one specialty of applied Korean, adopting the mode of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools with a high-level faculty and foreign language experts from South Korean, Ukraine. The teaching and the scientific research are strengthened increasingly and the domestic and foreign exchanges are frequent. There are 5 foreign teaches, 780full-time students, 5 foreign students from Ukraine and South Korean. International exchange institute takes “satisfy students, students’ parents and employer” as the education aims, and devotes in raising the high-quality, skillful, modern professional talents. At present we take the teaching as the work center, vigorously emphasize compound majors construction and teaching quality , spoken Korean and the listening comprehension as teaching key point, practice teaching which lay good foundation for students going abroad.

This specialty aims to cultivate higher talents having Korean listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation and some other basic skills and good ability to communicate with Korean, grasping the practice knowledge in economics, the trade elementary theory, engaged in the international economics and trade and having the multi-directions potential to develop. When graduation, students can achieve NCRE certification, most of the students can obtain the declarant, the salesman and some other professional credentials. The students can use skillfully in the net using Korean electronic commerce, foreign affairs reception, the commercial declaration, the processing commerce letters and telegrams, the contracts and documentation. This specialty offer the following courses: basic Korean, Korean reading, spoken Korean, Korean listening comprehension, Korean translation, Korean writing, the introduction to South Korean, the Chinese and South Korean relationship history, the international trade practice, economics and trade Korean, Korean through video and speaking, the college English, the international marketing, the international finance, the international commercial law, electronic commerce.

 The environment is graceful, the well-equipped facility, and has the language laboratory, the multimedia classroom, the reading-room, and other advanced teaching facility, providing the students with good condition. The institute is continuously cooperating with overseas universities in many fields, with Ukraine, South Korean, American, Japan's and some other countries, which promote the development powerfully.

Graduate's outstanding ability has also received employer's high praise. At present the employment rate of two enrollments had all achieved 98%, the outstanding graduates can study further going to South Korea. This has laid the good foundation for the training of the Korean language specialty, and greatly heighten the confidence for the teachers as well the students.
